Our carefully crafted spice blends and flavorful snacks are designed to make cooking both simple and inspiring. We dry, mix, and grind our spice blends from the freshest ingredients available using no fillers or artificial colors. All spice blends are vegan friendly, avoid gluten, and contain no added sugar or salt. They are pure spice, so a little goes a long way!

Smiling Jim’s brings 50 years of seasoning success to our organic, low-sodium, no-sugar* seasoning blends. We found that if herbs & spices are layered properly, freshly ground and sifted to the proper size, large amounts of salt and sugar are not necessary to produce flavor. We use no fillers – fillers have to be flavored, and salt and sugar are needed for this task.
*Our BBQ Rub and Fajita Seasonings have a tiny amount of sugar to start the caramelization process. Smiling Jim’s creates the seasonings needed to create high-end restaurant-like meals at home.

Rainy Day Cakes LLC was created during the pandemic of 2020, a time when the world stopped and shifted for us to rest, reset, and prioritize our purpose in life. It was during this time that I rediscovered my love of baking bundt cakes. It was my mother Katherine who taught me how to bake her famous “pound cake.” We spent Saturday afternoons baking cakes for her friends. It is my pleasure to present to you home-baked bundt cakes that I hope you enjoy just as much as I have enjoyed baking them for you.
