Here’s a look  at some of what’s ahead for this year …

** Crazy Hat Day:  Wear your craziest hat and stroll the aisles for some fun with hats …. or whatever you have on top of your head. Be creative. Lots of fun and entertainment to be had, for sure!

** American Red Cross: Learn how to build emergency kits, how to perform hands-on CPR, fire safety, and receive a free smoke alarm from the American Red Cross, who will be at the market today.

** Psychedelic 70’s Sunday.  We’re waxing nostalgic and taking a trip down Memory Lane with a 70’s theme day. The market will be decorated with as many funky decorations as we can come up with, and a number of our vendors may “dress for the occasion” by wearing 70’s clothing. We’ll have some 70’s music playing over the P.A. system, too. Join us for a fun day as we celebrate the 70’s in the market aisles.

Oct. 29

** Artist Demo (12-3pm): Apothekitchen’s Luke Siemienkiewicz will make healthy caramel apples. Location: Booth 1.  Visit Luke’s Etsy site to see samples of his products.

** Halloween at the Market.  Bring the kids to stroll through the aisles in their favorite Halloween costumes — and get a head start on your holiday shopping while you’re there. Many of our artisans join the Halloween fun by dressing in costume. Which artist has the best costume? You decide. We’ll have Halloween candy and treats for the kids at our hospitality table.

NOVEMBER

Nov. 12

** Kerrytown Open House. Last year’s Open House event drew a great crowd at the Market, and our raffle was a huge hit. So we’re doing it again this year! Our artists and crafters donate one of their handmade creations to be raffled off (free!) during Market hours. Buy something from one of our vendors and get a raffle ticket. Then turn in your ticket at the Information table to try your luck at winning one of the cool items made by our artisans. Good luck!

DECEMBER

Dec. 10

**Shop ‘Til You Drop Event. Only 15 days left until Christmas! Bring your holiday shopping list to the market and surprise your friends and family with gifts that keep on giving: handmade arts and crafts made by our local artisans — candles … ceramics …. fabrics/textiles/fiber arts …. food …. glass/mosaics …. jewelry …. leather …. metal …. mixed media (paper products, musical items, recycled antiques, designs on  wood)  … painting/drawing/2D …. photography …. sculpture … soap/personal care …. wood/furniture. You’ll find something for everyone on your list.

Dec. 17

** Last day of the 2017 Market season. Don’t miss your last chance to get locally handmade  items from our artisans before we close for the season. We’ll be back again in the spring — opening day for the 2018 season is Sunday, April 1.

  • Demo Days, Theme Days, and other events will be added as they are scheduled.

See you at the Market!
