SEPTEMBER

Sept. 30

  • Artist Demo, 12-3 p.m.: Kathryn Anne of Over the Rainbow Jewelry will make a Pandora-style bracelet using beads, stoppers, and pewter spacers. Location: Booths 17-18.
  • The Humane Society of Huron Valley will be at the market with an adoptable animal and with information on the organization’s services. Adoptions take place at the Humane Society’s facility on Cherry Hill Road in Ann Arbor.

OCTOBER

Oct. 7

  • Artist Demo, 12-3 p.m.: Oana Popa (of World in Harmony) will make earrings using beads and African fabrics. Location: Booth 143. 
  • The American Red Cross will be at the market with information on their organization and the services they provide.

Oct. 14

  • Artist Demo, 12-3 p.m.: Mary Lou Stropoli (of That Art Girl) will demonstrate paint-your-own wood panels. Kids can paint their own wood panels for $10 each (paint included). Location: Booths 97-98. 
  • Artist Demo, 12-3 p.m.: Mike Mouradian  (of Lawn Trout Guitars) will make a guitar out of a cigar box and other materials. Location: Look for the “Demo Today!” sign in the market aisles to find this demonstration.

Oct. 21 — Artist Demo, 12-3 p.m.: Barry Braun (of Swallowtail Pottery) will spin clay on a potter’s wheel to make bowls and other small items. Location: Booth 122.

Oct. 28

  • Artist Demo, 12-3 p.m.: Thien Pham (of Prairie Home & Garden) will make a bird feeder or bird house out of Michigan cedar. Location: Booths 125-126. 
  • The Salvation Army will be at the market with information on their organization and the services they provide.

NOVEMBER

Nov. 11 — Annual Holiday Open House, 11am-4pm (in conjunction with the  Kerrytown Open House). Free raffle at the market with a chance to win one of our artisan’s handmade creations. This is a popular annual event you won’t want to miss!

Nov. 18

  • The Salvation Army will be at the market with information on their organization and the services they provide. A bell ringer will be on hand to accept donations.

DECEMBER

Dec. 2 — TubaFest. A wonderful hour-long concert at the market from 2-3 pm;. Arrive a bit early to get a good parking spot.

Dec. 9

  • The Salvation Army will be at the market with information on their organization and the services they provide. A bell ringer will be on hand to accept donations.

Dec. 23 — Closing Day. This is the last day the market will be open for the 2018 season. See you in the spring!
